Um....you should use better examples. 2 of the three you just listed aren't made via the Unreal Engine.
I remember IGN gave GOW3 a 9.3, which is exactly the same as its current Metacritics score...is there a point?
Price is only one part of the problem. Sure the PSP platform has great games coming out, but how many of them will be available for digital download? KH: Birth By Sleep has already been confirmed not to be supported on the PSN Store. Konami said that MGS: PW will also not be on the store. That really only leaves GOW: Ghost of Sparta. As you can see, the stuff that is available for the PSPgo is really what is limiting. Price will only have a mild effect on the customer if the product offers aw...
Unfortunately people aren't buying it xD. This specific game has seriously been rehashed enough. This is really one of the reasons why NamcoBandai is struggling. They don't invest enough in new IP's...
If the next COD by Treyarch is indeed a Vietnam War version, then I would definitely be interested.
Although I do agree that their headline and intent is a bit extreme, I find that there is a conflict of interest (if you read the article). Basically the article is saying is that Peace Walker features the Famitsu magazine in it and additionally, Famitsu advertises the game in their magazine right now. As a result, the review that Famitsu gave could/could not be linked to the fact that they are getting awareness via content inside the game. One way to look at this, is that it is simply a mere...
You Wa Shock!!!
I agree. I believe there are certain unquantifiable reasons for picking console gaming over PC gaming, which can ultimately affect a person's decision. I myself am a console/PC gamer, split 50/50. There are some aspects that are offered exclusively to both types of experiences.
I am certainly not detracting from your mindset. I just wanted to show some people's rationale for why they pick PC gaming over console gaming. But again, it comes down to the intangible aspects that each...
That depends really. Are you looking to play at 1920x1200 (or any higher resolution) and looking to play the very few games that push the capabilities of a system until they cry? Or are you looking to play a wide range of games that don't necessarily push systems to the breaking point, and are still fun?
What I am saying is that you won't need to upgrade your PC every 2-3 years if you are looking to play conventional games that aren't meant to kick your PC in the crotch. i.e. Ass...
And we can easily say the same thing for a console. No TV, HDMI cables, etc. etc., it "doesn't exactly work" as you say. Here we are comparing the underlying 'thing' for playing games. Not other necessities. Just the single 'thing' that allows us to play.
But that is what the article is addressing. People should disregard the score given and focus more on the written aspect or video review in some cases. Some people may think the issue is very minor while others may think the issue can have a profound impact. That all depends on the perspective and also on your own perspective. As a result, a score doesn't truly reflect all the different viewpoints and possibilities out there. Words on the other hand, can give a more concrete analysis.

I'm not one to judge, but being under financial distress is not something that we should take for granted. The reason everyone makes these situations out to be dire is because the current economy sucks REAL BAD. You have recent college graduates competing with people who are laid off for little to no jobs on the market. Additionally, those who were laid-off are usually in the mature stage of their lives where they have to not only pay bills but also take care of the kids and wife. Bills are n...
er, wrong place.
And what developers did Chris Roper cause to go under? The only pathetic scum I see here is you and your presence on here always sickens me.
On Topic: I wish him luck and hopefully we can hear from Chris again in the future. Podcast Beyond will never be the same without him...
**@Presto below me**
There's an internet memo that got leaked online outlining why the layoffs occurred (it specifically says they were not "fired" but "laid off&quo...

Log in and cast your vote if you want him to be at E3 ;-)
I hope the game does turn out well like Batman AA....but with Activision presiding over all matters of every developer, I highly doubt that >_<
Moving on to a different set of holes I see! ;-)
Well, in this case, Samurai Warriors 1 + 2 were previously exclusive to the PS2/xbox. So, it would seem odd that they release this game exclusively on Wii given past purchaser habits. Additionally, this is the company that churned like 20 versions of the "insert name here" Warriors games. They even ported a supposed PSP exclusive called Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce to the PS3. So, I wouldn't rule anything out on this one.
I disagree. The trailer actually looks pretty cool. The game looks like it emphasizes a lot of humor and over the top action to get its point across. The feel of the game reminds me a lot of what Duke Nukem was and should be if it was ever released. The boot kick especially reminds me of that!
